Translated by Ollie Richardson & Angelina Siard

In the Rada it is seriously planned to vote on laws about religious fascism in which it is seriously proposed: to forbid the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) from taking away parishes from it, and to oblige it to appoint metropolitans and bishops only in coordination with the authorities.

Nobody will pay attention to the gross inconsistency between the drafts of the law and the norms of the Constitution.

The profits of a “Sacred patriotic War” for the authorities are clear.

Firstly, incitement of religious opposition will successfully distract from the issue of the sale of land, pension reform, killed economy, and other mechanisms of the extermination of Ukrainians, and secondly, the priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) appointed by enemies and ideological opponents will be “defeated” and ruined.

Bonus – the property of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) and shouts about another victory of “patriots”.

This is ordinary fascism.

It is especially fascism that is based on the idea of misanthropy and the suppression of any freedoms.

It is especially for fascism that the main method of existence is violence, and the murder of adversaries is the highest expression of heroics.

It is precisely for fascists that the interests of their “group”, and the fight against all others are priorities.

And modern fascists will confidently kindle religious strife, and convincingly tell us about “patriotic Christianity” and “patriotic patriarchy“.

Religious wars are a horrible thing. And under their cover the “correct Christians” will be allowed to do anything.

“We won’t tolerate anybody in our ranks who attacks the ideas of Christianity… in fact, our movement is Christian,” stated Hitler.

And we remember very well how this “Christian” movement ended for the world and its leader. And the same will happen in Ukraine. But it would be very much desirable to avoid it.

Assist, God!
