“I once again try to softly urge the former president to not interfere with the proceeding of electoral process in Georgia” – such a statement was made by the president of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili, addressing the ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.

According to Margvelashvili, society is focused on making a free choice and to strain this situation is a step against democracy.

“For us it is a major democratic experience, we hold modern European elections. Society is focused on making the right and free choice. Straining this situation, escalating emotions is a step against democracy,” noted Giorgi Margvelashvili.
