On the Internet documents were published by the hacker group SPRUT confirming that Ukrainian officers made regular business trips to Germany for training at the NATO school in Oberammergau.
Among the published documents there is a letter of the Head of Department of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, addressed to the Deputy Minister of Defence Igor Dolgov. In it, he briefly describes the program and especially the training of Ukrainian officers at the NATO school.
According to the text of the document, the instructors of the North Atlantic Alliance acquainted Ukrainian officers with the command structure of NATO, and the organization of local missions and operations held by the Alliance. Ukrainian military personnel took a course on information policy.
It should be noted that education, food, and travel expenses were covered by NATO. One of the last of such courses in Oberammergau lasted from the 10th to the 14th of October this year.
