Ukraine claimed first place in Europe for quantity of mental disorders among inhabitants. It is reported on the official site of the ministry of social policy of the country.

It is noted that in Ukraine 1.2 million inhabitants suffer from mental disorders, which is more than 3% of the entire population. The information of the department notes that this indicator constantly grows.

“For many years in a row Ukraine has claimed first place for quantity of mental disorders in Europe: nearly 2 million Ukrainians become patients of psychiatric hospitals annually,” it is said in the statement.

The department also stated that every third Ukrainian suffers from various nervous disorders.
