The transfer from accounts in Oschadbank to the accounts of the State Treasury of one and a half billion dollars, which, allegedly, belonged to “Yanukovych’s family” has begun. This was stated at a press conference by the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Aleksandr Turchynov.

“I want to thank the Prosecutor General’s Office … that they, without excessive PR, have professionally worked on the case and have received not just a decision on preliminary confiscation, but the court’s verdict, the final decision on the transfer of these funds into the accounts of the State treasury — into the State budget of Ukraine … These resources provide the financing of the State defense order and subjects of the security and defense sector,” stated Turchynov.
