A column of approximately 100 people marched from Maidan Nezalezhnosti to the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, chanting “revolution”, reports UNN.

According to the agency, the protesters chanted “revolution” and “Avakov on the prison bunk”, part of them carried flags of the extremist organization “Right sector”. Traffic on one of the central streets of Kiev was blocked off.

“After reading demands to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the activists staged a rally on Bankova Street, and went to Maidan, where they sang the anthem of Ukraine,” it is stated in the message of the agency.

According to the participants, the action was intended to be a reminder to the authorities about the patriots who “endure persecution.”
