The ex-mayor of Slavyansk affirms that she has supporting documents.
The current leader of Popular Front Arseny Yatsenyuk and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Aleksandr Turchynov financed a group of separatists of Igor Girkin – Strelkov, which in April 2014 took Slavyansk. This was stated by former mayor Nelli Shtepa; the video of her speech in court was released online.
“I’m sat in jail only because I brought to the SBU in Kharkov documents confirming that a bandit formation under the leadership of Strelkov in Slavyansk was paid by Yatsenyuk and Turchynov. And I was warned that I either remained silent like the rest of the mayors or I will sit in jail,” said Shtepa.
She stressed that “today’s pseudo-patriots don’t act in the interests of Ukraine, they act in the interests of the war party”.
“I will fight to the end to prove who is to blame for the collapse of Ukraine, and who is to blame for the collapse of Slavyansk. I am kept in jail only to prevent me from coming out and telling everyone who unleashed this war,” said Shtepa.
As was reported by Korrespondent.net, Chervonozavodskoye regional court of Kharkov had extended the detention of Shtepa until the 26th of September.
