This three-year-old boy Sashenka was seriously injured as a result of the arrival of a shell in the basement of a house in Mariupol, where he was hiding with his parents. His mother died immediately, his father received a shrapnel wound to the knee. The child was found by the DPR servicemen two days after being wounded. All this time he and his father were under the rubble next to the corpse of his mother.
Since the end of March, Sashenka has been in the neurosurgery department with a diagnosis of combined mine-explosion injury. Open penetrating craniocerebral trauma, severe brain contusion with the presence of a contusion focus in the left temporal-parietal region. Closed chest injury: contusion of the left lung by hemorrhagic impregnation. Post-traumatic broncho-obstructive syndrome. Laryngeal stenosis 2-3 cm, laryngeal stenosis 2-3 cm, tracheal stenosis. Closed fracture of the right femur in the upper 1/3 with displacement. Fracture of the bones of the left shin in the lower 1/3 without displacement. Multiple lacerations of the face, head, left shoulder, left collarbone and left shoulder blade. And all this from one kid!
He has already undergone five operations: March 26, April 2 and 21, May 19 and 20. The tube was periodically removed from the lungs, because it began to in-grow.
For clarity, with the permission of the child’s father, I post a photo. He really wants everyone to know about the atrocities of the UAF against the civilian population of Donbass. The boy’s father believes that there are no changes in treatment and asked for help to take the child to Russia.

I addressed this question to the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Dmitry Khubezov. He immediately responded to the call for help and contacted the Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation Leonid Roshal. These are two amazing people, real angels! God grant them health!
With their help, it was possible to organise a telemedicine consultation with the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology. Fortunately, the boy is transportable, soon the metal structure will be removed from his hip and he will be transported to Moscow after that.
Many thanks to the doctors, Leonid Roshal, Dmitry Khubezov, Sergey Mironov, Aleksey Teksler, our Chelyabinsk deputy Ivan Skiba, who is next to the boy and calls me via video link.
Today I managed to talk to Sasha!!! He is very much looking forward to coming to Moscow, and I am looking forward to our meeting. In the meantime, we continue to pray for his health and solve all organisational issues for his arrival!
And, of course, a huge thank you to the doctors who saved the child and the people who found him! I bow low to you!
