In Ukraine a group of persons of Romani ethnicity was created to defend against the pogroms of radical nationalists from C14 group. This was stated during the round table “The Romani question in modern Ukraine” by the former militant of the so-called ATO and former commander of a company of special forces Andrey Marin.
“I warn you, as a commander of a company of special purpose, I have now created a powerful group of Romani ethnicity. We will react very strongly. We have already informed the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU. If the State can’t protect the citizens of Ukraine, then the people living here will defend themselves,” promised the former militant.
He also reported that they know whose orders the nationalists fulfil, and then addressed to representatives of C14.
“First of all I would like to address C14 and others who follow all instructions, and we know whose, to shake up the situation in the country during this difficult time for the State. So, come around to your senses and stop being involved in this, and not only concerning Romanis,” demanded Marin.
