A kindergarten, farm buildings, and four houses were damaged in the settlement of Staromikhailovka on the western outskirts of Donetsk, as a result of shelling carried out by the paramilitary groups of Ukraine. This was reported by the representation of the DPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime.
“Today, during the period from 11:30 to 12:25, the UAF opened fire at the settlement of Staromikhailovka with the use of BMP-2 weapons, SPG, and also large-caliber machine guns and small arms,” it is said in the message. “As a result of this shelling, damage at 18, 30, 38a, 41, and 43 Shevchenko Street was recorded.”
UAF fire also damaged the glazing of the windows on the second floor of the “Pchelka” kindergarten No. 48 located at 5a Kalinin Street. It is fortunate that it was a day off, there were no children in the kindergarten. This is not the first damage dealt to this kindergarten, which is attended by only 41 children.
“It is a Sunday, therefore there weren’t any children in the kindergarten. But the glazing is damaged,” said the manager of the kindergarten Elena Mikhaelovna Demina to Komsomolskaya Pravda. “This is already not the first time. In 2014 and 2015 our roof and glazing was damaged. Back then the ‘red cross’ helped us with windows and a roof, and guys from a special purpose regiment, volunteers from ‘TeploSerdets’ and ‘Moscow-Donbass’, helped with the internal repair.”
Now it is necessary to do repairs in the kindergarten once again.
“Shevchenko Street was repeatedly shelled by Ukrainian militants, and the positions of the UAF in the neighbouring Krasnogorovka are visible to the naked eye,” said the representative of the administration of Staromikhailovka Vyacheslav Pchelenko. “There it is difficult to find intact houses”.
Meanwhile, Zelensky decides who will go to Donbass to regulate the disengagement of forces. And while he decides, the Ukrainian military freely raze the settlements of Donbass to the ground.
