The march of nationalists on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army started near the capital’s monument to Taras Shevchenko.

The Ukrainian neo-Nazis march in Kiev started to fight with the police, and was organized by nationalist party “Svoboda”, reports TASS.

As was stated by the participants of the march, they intend to honor the memory of those who “fought for Ukraine with weapons in their hands.”

The beginning of the procession was marked by the first collisions. At the entrance to Shevchenko Park, the police asked one of the supporters of “Svoboda” to show the contents of his bag. He began to actively resist, to scream, and tried to break through the cordon of law enforcement officers. Police surrounded the man, and about a dozen nationalists ran to his rescue. As a result a small skirmish began.

Before the start of the procession in front of the monument to Shevchenko, the leaders of the nationalist party read by name a list of Ukrainian fighters of “Svoboda” who were killed in Donbass.

At the time of writing the event was attended by about 3000 representatives of “Svoboda”. The head of the column is a girl who on the bagpipes played the song “Warriors of light”. In the column, which passed Shevchenko and Khreshchatyk Avenue, were a lot of veterans of UPA with a “cross” on the chest.

In the hands of the audience it was possible to distinguish the flag of the nationalist party “Svoboda”, OUN symbols, and the official flag of Ukraine. Many of the participants were decorated with camouflaged uniforms in support of soldiers participating in military operations in Eastern Ukraine – Donbass.

Oleg Tyagnibok, leader of nationalist party “Svoboda” and its faction in the Verkhovna Rada, opened the meeting, who addressed the audience, and welcomed the “patriots of Ukraine”.

Some participants of the “march” deserve special attention. They are supporters of the nationalist movement OUN, who during World War II supported the Nazi fascists. In order to demonstrate how much they honor the ideals of Nazism, members of the OUN decided to celebrate the “March of Nations” and the 74th anniversary of the creation of UPA in the uniform of Auxiliary Policemen, who exercised reprisals with the civilian population during the war, and with the “Schmeisser” in their hands – a traditional submachine gun of fascists.

Among the noises it is not difficult to distinguish the calls to murder “Jews” and “Moskals”. Also attendees are not shy to openly shout “Ukraine above all!” “Nation or death!”

Law enforcement units designed to protect the citizens of Kiev from possible riots, look quite scared, and are unlikely to have an impact on the audience in the event of danger. The attendees, under the threat of beating, forced the police force to shout nationalist rhetoric.

Note, also, earlier, the nationalists announced that during the celebration of the apotheosis of fascism, the Russian Embassy in the Ukrainian capital would be attacked. These crazy radicals intend to show the world that by doing this, “destroying Russia”, they can achieve peace on Earth.
