An entrepreneur from Donetsk is threatened with up to six years in prison after he was involved in the installation of satellite dishes in the homes of local residents.

This is stated by the press service of the SBU.

According to the department, the equipment installed by the man allowed its owners to receive in Ukraine banned Russian TV channels. During the installation of another antenna in a local café, the man was arrested. Currently, the SBU are working to closedown the equipment of the inhabitants of Artemovsk who had already purchased it.

The installer of satellite antennas is threatened by the security service with criminal liability under article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized interference in the operation of the electronic networks and systems), which provides up to six years of imprisonment.
