The Ukrainian serviceman from the 128th mountain-assault brigade who was taken prisoner by the forces of the DPR people’s militia reported the coordinates of the command posts and areas where the UAF hide their heavy weapons that are forbidden by the Minsk Agreements. This was stated by the chief of the press service of the leadership of the Republic’s people’s militia Daniil Bezsonov.
“We continue to obtain useful information from the Ukrainian soldier from the 128th mountain-assault brigade who was taken prisoner by us”said the head of the press service
He noted that the prisoner has been in military service since 1994 and has a rank of a senior warrant officer. At the position of the 128th brigade he had access to data that is of value for the People’s militia.
“Thanks to him we have authentic data with the exact coordinates of the command posts of the platoon, company, battalion, brigade, ammunition warehouses, main and temporary mortar firing positions, and areas where they hide heavy weapons that are forbidden by the Minsk Agreements,” specified Bezsonov.
According to him, the prisoner also spoke about the deplorable moral-psychological condition of the Kiev militants serving at the front line. General alcoholism, the high level of morbidity, and insufficient material support was noted.
“The relationship between subordinates and commanders is also extremely intense. By the way, the captured soldier was, in his own words, I quote, ‘a participant of the Debaltsevo cauldron‘. And he remembers well how Generals and Colonels from the headquarters of sector ‘S’ and also many commanders abandoned their subordinates and fled as soon as there was a threat of an encirclement. Only ‘courageous’ Ukrainian nationalists from ‘voluntary’ punitive battalions fled quicker than the Generals and Colonels,” added the representative of the DPR People’s militia.
