On the pedestrian bridge over the “Alley of Heavenly Hundred Heroes” in the centre of Kiev, radicals from the new ultra-right organisation “Centuria” hung a poster saying “Place for Vata“ along with nooses under it.
This is evidenced by a video published on the organisation’s Telegram channel.
In the video, a group of young people in black clothes and masks go to the pedestrian bridge above the “Alley of Heavenly Hundred Heroes” and unfurls a poster with the text: “Place for Vata”. Then the camera changes angle and it becomes noticeable that rope hang from the bridge.
“They are traitors and collaborators of the occupiers, they are collaborators and Soviet opportunists. A reminder of where the real place is for vata,” the video caption reads.
Later, the Telegram channel explained that “Place for Vata” is an action launched by radicals. Its participants are asked to take stickers with the image of politicians who the organisation finds objectionable along with nooses around their necks and “take photos of them in the most creative places“. Winners are promised gifts.
