Chief of Staff of the “ATO” Banned UAF Soldiers From Communicating With Saakashvili

The Chief of Staff of the so-called “ATO” ordered to limit the access of the former President of Georgia, former governor of the Odessa region, and politician Mikhail Saakashvili – nowadays disgraced in Ukraine – and his supporters to all UAF objects. This was reported at a briefing in the Lugansk Information Center by the official representative of the people’s militia of the LPR Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

“As is well-known, today more than 70% of the military personnel of the UAF are dissatisfied with the political course of (the President of Ukraine Petro) Poroshenko. In addition, in the zone of conducting the ‘ATO’ volunteer movements are actively holding propaganda events among the military personnel directed against the current government of Ukraine,” noted the Lieutenant-Colonel.

“In order to prevent an increase in negative moods among the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the zone of conducting the ‘ATO’ and armed revolts against the acting Ukrainian authorities, the Chief of Staff of the ‘ATO’ Lieutenant-General Aleksandr Lakota ordered to limit the access of Mikhail Saakashvili and his supporters, as well as members of the media to all military facilities of the UAF in the zone of conducting the ATO, and also forbade all personal contact between the military personnel and the specified persons,” reported the representative of the Defense Ministry of the Republic.

Earlier the head of the Center for sociological research “Special status”, the candidate of political sciences Aleksandr Protsenko expressed the opinion that the scandal connected with the crossing of the Polish-Ukrainian border by the former governor of Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili became the first batch of yeast in the fermentation named “Ukraine without Poroshenko”.

Marochko repeatedly reported that in the ranks of the UAF discontent ripens, which is connected to the low level of food and supply of hardware, medical care, payment delays, and postponing the time of demobilization.
