DPR command has published data on the Ukrainian army officers who ordered fire on villages in the Novoazovsk district, south DPR, in December, 2016.

The document includes data on the 36th separate brigade commander, Col. Dmitry Delyatitsky and his subordinates – Col. Roman Shostka and Maj. Vladimir Voronin.

It is established that since the 10th to 20th of December, 2016, Delyatitsky ordered daily Shostka and Voronin to fire from heavy guns on the villages of Sakhanka and Kominternovo. Thus, more than twenty residential houses were destroyed, twelve suffered damaged roofs and windows. Eleven settlements in the area were fully de-energized.

Of special note is the shelling on Sakhanka on the night of the 12th of December when a school, a café, a village club, and a post office were damaged, as well as a fire depot and a boiler house. Also, reporters of Russian and Republic TV channels came under fire on-duty; a fire was started by the 36th brigade right after OSCE monitors had left the village.

It was noted that the Ukrainian commanders’ actions can be qualified as war propaganda – planning, preparation, unleashing and committing aggressive war, as well as crimes against humanity, violations of the laws or customs of war, and genocide.
