Fighters returning from the so-called ATO zone are hired massively by debt collection agencies, in order to more effectively beat out the growing debts of the population of Ukraine for loans and increased utility rates.

This was reported by the ex-Verkhovna Rada Deputy Aleksey Zhuravko on his social network page.

According to him, the law recently adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on debt collection allows such actions.

“A very horrific and unpredictable situation appeared with the so-called debt law of debt collection adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Money will start to be demanded even from those who have debts for housing. And with today’s extortionate tariffs, the number of such people in the country will be much more.

According to the information of my friend, such firms (collection agencies) recruit former ATO “volunteers”, preferably from volunteer battalions, who, as they themselves say, in this case their “hand will not tremble”. The dashing 90’s is kindergarten compared to the situation in which Ukraine found itself in because of Maidan,” said Zhuravko.
