The representative of the LPR in the contact group Vladislav Deynego in an exclusive interview with Newsfront explained what will happen if the Ukrainian military attempts to occupy the territories that, on 1st October, will be vacated by the LPR military in the framework of the agreement on the bilateral disengagement of forces.

“An agreement on the disengagement of forces and means was reached in Minsk. This means that the first three sites were created where there shouldn’t be any armed individuals. Not from one side nor the other. This is one of the main conditions of the framework decision signed on 21st September,” said the interlocutor to the agency.

According to him, if any of the parties occupies the liberated territory, it would be a direct violation of the Minsk agreements.

“It (the occupation by any party of the liberated part of the territory) will be clear proof of the lack of desire to peacefully resolve the conflict in Donbass. In fact, it can be used as a pretext for taking drastic enough measures against the violating party,” said Vladislav Deynego.
