On 28th July, 2014, the Ukrainian army shelled a nursing home in Lugansk, killing 5 people. They died right in their wheelchairs, unable to escape to shelter.

8 civilians of Lugansk were injured. On that horrible day several districts of Lugansk came under artillery fire, including polyclinic No. 8, several houses caught fire after the shelling.
