Ukraine commits war crimes by using its army in Donbass. This was stated on the air of the TV channel 112 by the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, the former head of the Ukrainian bureau of Interpol Kirill Kulikov.

According to him, without imposing martial law, Kiev opted for the use of troops against the civilian population.

“These are war crimes. We have no war, so why are troops used? I.e. it is considered that in Donetsk we have civilians, we have no right, according to international standards and international law, to use troops against civilians. If there is war, then it is clear — people who are called army are used, they have separate insignia, they wear a uniform, they have weapons, and so on. There is one side, there is another side, there are conventions that apply when troops are used, and everything becomes clear. What we have now is something that we don’t understand,” said Kulikov.
