Girlfriend of One of the Detained Leaders Of “Azov” Gave a Testimony

A girlfriend of one of the detainees in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, members of the underground group of the “Azov” battalion gave a testimony about their work in the LPR, reported RIA Novosti citing the press-service of the Ministry of State Security of the Republic.

Earlier, the Ministry of State Security announced the names of the detainees: Vladislav Ovcharenko and Artem Akhmerov, recruited by Ukrainian intelligence. Criminal cases were brought agains them under the article of treason in the form espionage.

“The girlfriend of one of the leaders of a neo-Nazi group of football ultras detained in Lugansk, admitted that the top of the group were “patriots” for money,” reported the department.

According to the girlfriend, the group consisted of about 13 people in total, all of them tried to earn “easy” money, it was told in the Ministry.
