“God made the world for us to share and take care of, not to fight”

On our small planet, children die every day from military operations. Syria, Afghanistan, Donbass, other parts of the world… Unfortunately, for most politicians, another dead child is just a new figure in the report. But for me, this is not the case. I live near the war and I know that many people fall asleep, saying: “Thank you for another day lived.”

This is the most sincere “thank you”. We love life no less than others, we are no different from ordinary children of Europe or Asia. It’s just that our “tomorrow” no longer depends on us, but on adults. Today (September 21) is the day of peace. And when once again uncles and aunts will express “concern”, make beautiful speeches at a time when another child will die from shelling, nothing will change. Conversations should lead to some kind of decision and action. Otherwise, it looks like politicians divide children into “their own” and “strangers”, it’s a pity for this, but not for that.

The world is fragile and indivisible. And we have one, another is not expected to come in the near future.
Recently I read the words of a girl from America – Samantha Smith: “God made the world for us to share and take care of. Not to fight over or have one group of people own it all”. And I agree with her.
