Graduates of Ukrainian universities come to study for internships at the Lugansk State Medical University (LSMU). The rector of LSMU Vasily Simrok reported this at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Health.

He noted that graduates from Ukraine who study for LSMU internships speak about the high level of teaching.

“Graduates coming to us for internships from Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov also speaks about the quality of knowledge that we provide at the university,” said the rector.

According to him, now about 2,000 students attend the university, from which more than 300 are first-year students.

“380 teachers work at our university. From them 45 are doctors and 223 are candidates of science. 20 people are now working on writing their theses,” he said.
