On January 1st in Lvov actions took place devoted to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian nationalist and leader of OUN Stepan Bandera. reports Zik.

During the event participants laid flowers in front of the monument to Bandera, and also held a veche and a general prayer. Among the audience there were heads of the region and city.

The mayor of Lvov Andrey Sadovoy noted that Bandera was born in Galicia and was a great patriot. He also mentioned Tomos in his speech.

“… All of us are proud of Tomos and of our glorious soldiers. Please God let it be that in all cities of our country they are honoured and respected as they are here in Lvov, where we help them. It would be honest and worthy. Today I believe in our country. I want a lot of good for it, but we must be not only patriots of our city, but also patriots of our country and serve our country, because it is the best one”
