The State Property Fund of Ukraine plans to sell 10 enterprises of the state-owned “Ukroboronprom“ in 2019. This was reported by the head of the fund Vitaly Trubarov on January 3rd.
“The State Property Fund approved a list of objects that are subject to small-scale privatisation and will be sold in 2019. On the list there are both new objects and those that did not have time to be privatised last year. There is a total of 792 objects, 48 of which are equity stakes, 92 are single property complexes, 190 are uncompleted construction projects, 402 are private property, and 59 are objects of social and cultural significance.
This year about 10 objects of the state-owned ‘Ukroboronprom’ will be put up for sale. In particular, the ‘Sudmash’ factory in Kherson, the ‘VIAZ’ Vinnytsia Aviation Plant, ‘Zaporozhye Automobile Repair Plant’, Nizhyn Repair Plant for Engineering Equipment, and others.
Also, the ‘Golovinsky Quarry’ will be put up for sale, as well as the single property complexes: ‘Dneprovsky Electric Locomotive Plant’, ‘Kievmashservice’, and the Pervomayskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant. The full list of property that will be auctioned in 2019 can be found on the website of the State Property Fund,” wrote Trubarov on Facebook.
According to the approved list of objects subject to privatization, in 2019 it is planned to sell the Dneprovsky Electric Locomotive Plant, which is under the control of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine, and also a number of objects of the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant.
