Ukraine will make a voluntary contribution to the NATO budget to obtain premises at the alliance headquarters. This was reported by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from “European Solidarity” [former “Bloc of Petro Poroshenko” – ed] Aleksey Goncharenko.
“Ukraine will make a voluntary contribution of €850,000 to NATO, which will allow Ukraine to get premises at the NATO headquarters,” wrote the deputy on his Facebook page.
According to Goncharenko, the relevant order was adopted at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 4th.
According to “Evropeyskaya Pravda“, the government confirmed information about the allocation of funds. They will be spent renovating the old NATO headquarters in Brussels.
The Ukrainian delegation will be able to occupy the premises previously occupied by one of the member countries. As is known, all delegations of member countries moved to the new headquarters in 2017.
