At future elections the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, co-owner of the “Privat“ group and the “1+1” TV channel, will support any worthy candidate for the President of Ukraine except the current President Petro Poroshenko. The favourite in the race is the leader of “Fatherland” Yulia Tymoshenko. Kolomoisky stated this on “Radio Svoboda”.

He also noted that currently he has no agreements with any of the candidates.

“No, there isn’t anything with anybody. And I haven’t seen any of the candidates yet. Well, except for the one that’s known,” he said, answering the question of the journalist.

He specified that he means Yulia Tymoshenko. “I believe that today she is the favourite in the presidential race,” said Kolomoisky. He also noted that there are no agreements on support for Tymoshenko during elections.

“No, there isn’t any in general. I didn’t conduct any negotiations,” said Kolomoisky.

To the journalist’s question about there being information that he, it seems, met Tymoshenko in Israel, in Tel Aviv, the oligarch answered: “It is a pity that you didn’t call me earlier, I would be photographed near Lake Geneva near a fountain in real time, and you would understand just how ridiculous this is”.
