The LPR transferred to the Ukrainian side the bodies of three saboteurs, who were destroyed during an attempt of penetrate through the contact line near Debaltsevo.

“We hand over the bodies of the Ukrainian military personnel who died at the Svetlodarsk arc (near Debaltsevo),” said the official representative of the People’s militia of the LPR Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

“It is solely through the fault of the Ukrainian government that these military personnel died. But we must say that each soldier must be buried. This is an integral part of any war. On the eve of Victory Day we would like it so that these soldiers are buried with honor and dignity,” noted the representative of the People’s militia.

The transfer of the bodies took place near Schastya under the observation of representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) and Joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire regime (JCCC).

The chairman of the “union of Afghanistan veterans of the Lugansk region” Sergey Shonin while handing over the bodies to the Ukrainian side reported that the Kiev punishers confirmed that the dead are UAF military personnel.
