In addition, four more servicemen were kidnapped and a ransom was demanded from their families.

The official representative of the People’s militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko said that on June 24th a Ukrainian sabotage group entered the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic. They attacked employees of a unit of the rear who were delivering food, on Bakhmut road.

“Two servicemen were brutally killed. Before their deaths they were subjected to brutal torture. Analysis of their bodies showed the presence on each of them of more than ten knife wounds,” reported Marochko.

Four more employees were kidnapped, and psychological and physical pressure was put on them. In addition, the kidnappers called their relatives. The UAF demanded that the employees of the DPR say that they allegedly are from Russia. Relatives were demanded to confirm this in the presence of western journalists. They even said that they will provide papers that should be shown “for confirmation”.

“They use all means to weaken our fighters and to force them to repeat the lie that Poroshenko said to the President of France,” noted Marochko.

He once again emphasized that the kidnapped military personnel are citizens of the LPR. They were called to service by the Republic’s military registration and enlistment office. Marochko asked international human rights organizations to help return the military personnel of the People’s militia.

“We urge all interested organizations to pay attention to the brutal provocation staged by the Kiev authorities and their latest attempt to deceive foreign partners,” said Marochko.
