The Turkish political scientist and doctor of historical sciences of the Istanbul university Mehmet Perinçek told the “Ukraina.ru” publication how Washington sets the people of Russia and Ukraine against each other for the sake of accessing the natural resources of Eurasia…
Now the authorities of Ukraine addressed to Patriarch Bartholomew, whose residence is in Turkey, asking him to give autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in Ukraine. Why is such significance given to the decision of the Constantinople patriarch, and what role does the position of western States play in it?
“The US and the European Union use the Constantinople patriarchate to expand their influence in our region, both against Turkey and against Russia.
Western States, despite the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne signed by them, declared the Greek patriarch of Constantinople as ‘Ecumenical’. Although in reality the ‘Ecumenical patriarch’ depends on the administration of the Fatih district in Istanbul, where his residency is. But after such positioning by imperialistic States patriarch Bartholomew began to gradually spread his influence outside the borders of Turkey, having turned into a cornerstone in the Atlantist operation against Eurasia. For example, in recent years the US and the European Union actively demand the opening of a spiritual school of the patriarchate on the Prince Islands where foreign students will be accepted. Having received spiritual education and become priests, they will be sent to carry out service in the Balkans and Russia, and there they will become influential leaders of the Constantinople patriarch, and also the countries of the West.
We have information that patriarch Bartholomew knew about the preparation of the pro-American military coup in Turkey in July, 2016, and three hours before putshists acted, he left for one of the American military bases in the region; and also about the fact that Bartholomew was connected to the terrorist organisation of Gülenists involved in this conspiracy, the leader of which has lived in the US since 2000.”
What, in your opinion, are the aims of the US’ policy in the region?
“The main goal of the US is to capture the natural resources of Eurasia, first of all – its center, the ‘core’ (what western geopolitics call the Heartland), and the roads to these resources. For this purpose they need military springboards in the Middle East, in the Caucasus, and in Eastern Europe, directed against the large States of Eurasia. The so-called ‘free Kurdistan’ is the main American springboard in the Middle East, and in Eastern Europe a similar role is played by pro-American Ukraine aimed not only against Russia, but also against Turkey, Iran, and China.
It is precisely for this reason that the states of Eurasia suffering from such American projects need to unite forces against the entire range of western plans. In particular, Turkey must act not only against pro-American Kurdistan, but also against pro-American Ukraine; Russia is not only against the American springboard on Ukraine, but also against the American springboard in Kurdistan, etc.
At the same time, the project of pro-American Ukraine is non-beneficial for Ukrainians themselves. Hostility with Russia for the US’ interests is illogical. Sooner or later the US will leave, and the Ukraine that fought for them will as a result be left tête-à-tête with Russia. That’s why Ukrainians have to oppose the plans of Washington, for the national interests of this country.
I have no exact information about whether the US planned to create a military naval base in Crimea at the beginning of 2014, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is so. After all, as I noted, the Americans have long sought to use this territory as a springboard for the creation of military bases against not only Russia, but also other large States of Eurasia. They unleash wars between regional powers, and because of it Russians, Ukrainians, Turks, and other nations of the region will die and suffer, but not Americans.”
