Activists of the extremist organization “Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People” – forbidden in Russia – are ready to return Crimea to the structure of Ukraine in a military way. This was stated by the organizer of the food and energy blockade of Crimea Lenur Islyamov, reports the Ukrainian media.

“We need to strengthen the forces inside and prepare for the liberation of the territory. If it is required — in a military way. We, Crimean Tatars, won’t allow anybody to decide the destiny of Crimea without us. We, together with continental Ukrainians, will decide its destiny,” said Islyamov.

He also condemned the head of the Free Democratic Party of Germany Christian Lindner, who called to temporarily “put on the shelf” the question of Crimea. “Saying, engage yourself in Donbass, we will federalise it, we will push it back to you with all separatists, and further suffer them in the Verkhovna Rada, and we will further finance and undermine internal foundations and the statehood of Ukraine. To listen to such statements is all the same as watching State Russian TV, exactly the same,” said Islyamov indignantly.

Earlier Lindner stated that the security and welfare of Europe also depends on relations with Russia and therefore it is necessary to develop relations with Moscow and at this stage to accept the present status of Crimea as a “temporary solution for an indefinite term”.
