Translated by Ollie Richardson & Angelina Siard

The French music group Les Brigandes recorded a song “Million Roses”, which is devoted to the conflict in Donbass. The team has published a video of a performance of the song with Russian subtitles on their YouTube channel.

The clip is entitled “Million roses (the Anthem for Donbass)”. In the beginning of the video the flag of the breakaway Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) is shown, and then a photo of a billboard is shown, which depicts Arsen Pavlov, known by the call sign Motorola, with the caption “Heroes never die”. In the song there are lines: “Uncle Sam came here to bring us trouble. So close to great Russia, we don’t know fear.”

Motorola died on 16th October when an explosive device was placed in an elevator. He was one of the commanders of the DPR militia.
