The memorial was installed at the spot where 600 Jews, residents of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, were shot. On the 18th of January, it was destroyed for the first time

The employees of state improvement services collected the broken fragments and restored the plaque on the eve of the 26th of January, International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Today only new rubble and smithereens remain of the memorial.
