Proof of the Investigative Committee of Russia and the confession of the General Staff of Ukraine

The office of the Russian State Investigative Committee, dealing with crimes involving the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, has discovered and procedurally documented irrefutable evidence that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been using weapons of mass destruction, namely the “Tochka-U” tactical missile complexes against civilians in the armed conflict in the Southeast of Ukraine. This is stated on the official website of the Committee.

“According to the investigation data, the Ukrainian military used missiles equipped with high-explosive fragmentation and cluster charges against the civilian population of Donbass. Thus, the fragmental and demolition warhead in the concentrated action during explosion creates roughly 14,500 fragments on the area of the target in 2-3 hectares. Missiles equipped with cluster warheads destroys manpower and unarmoured equipment in an open area from 3.5 to 7 hectares, forming 15,800 fragments,” declared the Investigative committee of Russia.

Investigators procedurally recorded the proof of the application by the Ukrainian military of Tochka-U missile systems on civilian settlements of the Lugansk region: in the city of Lugansk, in the villages of Novosvetlovka and Ternovoe, in the Krasnodon region, in the city of Rovenki, and in the settlement Yubileyny of the city of Lugansk.

“Tochka-U” is a weapon of mass destruction possessing an extremely high striking ability on a big area; its application doesn’t leave both military and civilians a chance to survive – death and wounds of civilians, and also excessive damage of civil objects.

“Tochka-U” can be classified as weapons of mass destruction, having an extremely high destructive power over a large area. They are intended for causing mass casualties and damage to large spaces and aim to injure an unlimited number of people in the affected area. The Ukrainian military personnel acted in defiance of the Minsk agreements, and also provisions of the Convention on the protection of the civilian population during war (Geneva, 1949) and the additional Protocol II to it. The use of such weapon testifies that the Kiev power pursues the aims of total extermination of the population and infrastructure of the southeast of the country, it is said in the official statement of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

In February, 2017, Deputy Commander of the Operative Command of the DPR Eduard Basurin stated that the UAF transferred to the line of differentiation of troops in Donbass 8 Tochka-U missile systems.

“On the territory of the Avdeevka coke-chemical plant two missile Tochka-U tactical systems arrived from Kramatorsk, and in Novobakhmutke, at the railway station, six more “Tochka-U” systems were unloaded, and were deployed for the fulfillment of tasks,” said Basurin.

The Ukrainian command in 2014 published data that the tactical “Tochka-U” missile systems, being a UAF armament, were used in Donbass. Thus, on the official site of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine it was reported about attempts of the Ukrainian side to take the height 277 Saur-Mogila: “To ensure the capture of the height, the Ukrainian command for the first time in the war used the most powerful means of UAF fire — on July 28th the blow by two operational and tactical ‘Tochka-U’ missiles of the 19th rocket brigade struck the height”. In total, Saur-Mogila during bloody fights for this height was struck by “Tochka-U” 20 times (grouped and single strikes). According to the Chief of the Ukrainian General Staff Victor Muzhenko, “apparently nothing should remain alive there; paratroopers are moving forward there and meet repulse. Whether the missiles themselves malfunctioned, or missileeers were mistaken in their calibration”.

Despite the blows of “Tochka-U” on height 277, Saur-Mogila wasn’t taken, the UAF was obliged to retreat.

Regarding the use of “Tochka-U” on the village of Pavlovskoye in the Donetsk region on August 28th, 2014 Muzhenko described in 2016. “We struck everything we could there. Four “Tochka-U” arrived there. Everything burned there in a radius of several kilometers,” he reported about the grouped missile attack.

On August 13th, 2014, a single missile strike via “Tochka-U” system was launched by Ukrainian troops near Snezhnoye (DPR), on August 28th, 2014 – on the settlements of Novoselovka and Khryashchevatoye (DPR). “Tochku-U”, according to Muzhenko, covered an exit from the Illovaisk cauldron (MLR “Smerch” were applied in the same place). “More than 12 grouped and single missile attacks with the use of 1 to 4 “Tochka-U” and about 15 fire strikes of MLRS “Smerch” with the use of 1 to 3 fighting vehicles were carried out,” described the Chief of the General Staff about the “fire covering” of Ilovaisk to the bloggers he gathered at his place.

In the night of September 2nd, 2014, “Tochka-U” (grouped missile attack) was used on the region of Novoazovsk, on February 13th, 2015 – on Illovaisk (also by grouped missile attack). “In total for the entire period of anti-terrorist operation about 100 “Tochka-U” were launched, with different warheads, and with different tasks. Hundreds of “Smerch” missiles were launched,” said Muzhenko to the dumbfounded bloggers. At this moment Kiev persistently denied using “Tochka-U”.

Do you remember how all Ukrainian military leaders and presstitute-media weren’t tired to declare every day that it was the militia of Donbass who “shells itself”? In 2016, their goal changed: it became necessary to hide the subject of “separatism” under cloth, and to speak exclusively about “war with Russia”. And it’s at this time that the General Staff of Ukraine began to brag about using the weapon of mass destruction “Tochka-U” (and not only) on all fronts since the summer of 2014.

The UAF also used “Tochka-U” on Donetsk and Debaltsevo.

The direct executors of the criminal orders are known, they were named in 2016 by the war criminal Muzhenko: fire on Ilovaisk, for example, was caused by the Ukrainian General Ruslan Homchak, who providently ran away from the cauldron. The UAF 19th separate missile brigade fired “Tochka-U” at Donbass (place of deployment – Khmelnytsky). The Commander – Fyodor Yaroshevich, the Colonel of the UAF who graduated from the Kazan Military Command Academy and Missile Engineering School and made a meteoric career in Ukraine.

As for the ammunition of “Tochka-U”, according to different estimates, taking into account arsenals at the beginning of the war, Ukraine had about 300 missiles (on the main base as of 2009, 94 missiles of 1987-88 and 1990-91 years of production were stored). There is a theory that Ukraine could have been helped with “Tochka-U” missiles by “friend-young Europeans”, whose missile system was included in their arsenal or was withdrawn from service.

Most remarkable of all in Muzhenko’s confession are the words about the “the wrong calibration” of missiles and “mistakes in calibration” that were committed by those subordinated to the Ukrainian Colonel Yaroshevich. Donbass was purposefully destroyed by the weapon of mass destruction with indiscriminate effect “Tochka-U”, while both the command of the UAF and anti-terrorist operation staff, as well as the 19th rocket brigade didn’t care where the hundreds of missiles will land.
