“Inhabitants of Odessa will again bring flowers, will light candles, and will put wreaths in memory of the heroes of May 2, while these beasts will never wash their conscience!” commented one user.

According to an eyewitness, the Odessa “heroes” – “Svoboda” and radicals of “Right Sector” – fought with pensioners, trampled on the fresh flowers that are always in the square near the House of Trade Unions, scattered the lamps, wreaths, and toys. After completing this work, they proudly posed against the backdrop of the destroyed memorial with “trophies” in the form of flags from the elderly and members of the rally.

A photo shared by the radicals on a social network also testifies to this, probably to report to the client who funded the campaign to disrupt the rally and the destruction of the memorial.
