The leader of the Ukrainian “Fatherland” party Tymoshenko met up with the Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky in Warsaw. Photographic evidence of this meeting appeared on the Internet on the social network “Facebook”. The politician Oleg Tsarev spoke about the reason why Tymoshenko and Kolomoisky met up in Poland.

“Nowadays Tymoshenko occupies one of the leading roles in Ukrainian politics. She has a party, a faction, and the No.1 approval rating in Ukraine. Tymoshenko reached an agreement with Kolomoisky about cooperation long ago. They have an old story of relations that also has negative pages. One of such cases is the cancellation of the privatisation of the Odessa port plant in accordance with Tymoshenko’s decree. But at the same time without Kolomoisky’s support, Tymoshenko wouldn’t have become Prime Minister at the time of Yushchenko – it is precisely Kolomoisky who gave decisive votes for this purpose.

Tymoshenko and Kolomoisky know what to expect from each other, and that’s why they have now quietly created, so to speak, an alliance against Poroshenko, in which the political leader is Tymoshenko, and brain and financial center is Kolomoisky. Also, the Ukrainian nationalists who will oppose Poroshenko and a group of mayors and governors – in particular, Filatov and Korban – are included in this ‘alliance’. The ‘alliance’ reached an agreement about cooperation between Avakov, Gritsenko, Nalyvaichenko. The participants of this ‘alliance’ divided spheres of responsibility up among themselves. For example, Filatov and Korban will finance Zelensky, who will attack Poroshenko’s image, and thus help Tymoshenko.

Kolomoisky has his own interests in presidential elections. In exchange for Tymoshenko’s help now he wants to return Privatbank back to himself. In Ukraine there are already courts proceedings concerning this matter, and Kolomoisky fares not too badly concerning this question.

Kolomoisky is now hesitant about coming to Ukraine. Every time he came in the past, he coordinated his meetings and took guarantees from Poroshenko that nothing will happen to him during his ‘visits’. But in fact Kolomoisky step by step spins his web – he builds a strong ‘Anti-Poroshenko front'”.
