On January 1st on Grecheskaya Street there was a clash between participants of the march in honor of the birthday of Stepan Bandera and an inhabitant of Odessa who decided to speak disapprovingly about the idol of nationalists.

As the correspondent of TIMER from the place of events reported, the incident happened on Stroganovsky Bridge (Grecheskaya Steet). When the column of nationalists passed on the bridge, one of the citizens who was here expressed a negative opinion about Stepan Bander (in an obscene manner) as a result of which he was attacked by the far right. According to our correspondent, the man didn’t suffer serious injuries.

About 100-200 people took part in the march organized by “Svoboda”. The march passed from the monument to Taras Shevchenko to Primorsky Boulevard.
