The president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko asked school students of the Lvov region to go to Donbass in order to assist in the Ukrainization of the region. He said this on Wednesday, August 30th, reports the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

“I have a big request for you, with a very important initiative. If the best schools of the Lvov region take under their wing the schools of Donbass, the central and regional authorities will provide you with the opportunity to go there, so that you can describe how fantastic Ukraine is, how fantastic the Ukrainian language is, and how our State is,” said Poroshenko at the opening ceremony of a school in the Lvov region.

On May 25th the governor of the Donetsk region (the part of the region under the control of Kiev) Pavel Zhebrivsky called the Russian language an element of hybrid war. He also announced a competition for the full Ukrainization of the cities of Donbass.

In December, 2016, the adviser to the Interior Minister of Ukraine Ilya Kiva supported the violent Ukrainization of the residents of Donbass. He specified that it is possible to use any methods in order to educate in “love for Ukraine”.
