In the “ATO” zone in the East of Ukraine the system of countering “anti-Ukrainian broadcasting” and “Russian information aggression” started to work.

As the correspondent of the “Interfax-Ukraine” agency reports, the system was started by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a live broadcast of a meeting of the Military office on Thursday.

According to the report read from the ATO zone, the equipment of this system was placed along the line of demarcation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

“The system blocks analog, digital, television signals that arrive from the uncontrolled territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, in particular, over 40 Russian and separatist television channels are blocked. The system will become an effective instrument of countering the spreading of information and Russian propaganda in the ATO zone,” reported the general speaker.

He highlighted that Ukrainians living in 150 settlements of Donbass will receive information protection with the start of this system.

“The equipment of this system conforms to modern requirements of energy efficiency and the ecological safety of the environment,” specified the speaker.
