Poroshenko Once Again Spoke in Front of a Half-Empty Hall at the UN General Assembly

Translated by Ollie Richardson & Angelina Siard

The president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on September 26th addressed a half-empty hall at the 73rd session of General Assembly of the UN at the organisation headquarters in New York.

Poroshenko’s wife Marina, the Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, and the Acting Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Ulana Suprun supported Poroshenko in the hall.

The reaction of the representatives from the US to his speech was quite cautious, and the Russians clearly thought about something else, and one of their representatives in general sat with his eyes closed, showing to the people around if not boredom, then at least indifference.

At the last UN meeting Petro Poroshenko also addressed empty chairs.
