Petro Poroshenko during easter night together with his wife Marina and children first of all went to the St. Vladimir Cathedral, which was captured by schismatics, where the anathematised Mikhail “Filaret” Denisenko – the head of the unrecognised in the orthodox world “Kiev patriarchate” – carried out a “service”.

This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine. Afterwards the Poroshenkos went to a liturgy in the Greco-catholic monastery.

And only after this did Poroshenko join a festive liturgy in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra belonging to the canonical Orthodox Church.
