The Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko declared nearly 550 million more (the previous declared income change can be read here – ed] hryvnia of dividends from the Rothschild Trust Schweiz AG company (Switzerland), having thus increased his total declared income for 2018 in comparison with 2017 by 82 times – to more than 1.3 billion hryvnia.
This is confirmed by the Unified register of declarations of persons authorised for the execution of functions of the state.

On January 1st the head of state declared 548.7 million hryvnia of dividends from the Rothschild Trust and 26.2 million hryvnia of dividends from the public joint stock company “closed non-diversified corporate investment fund Prime Assets Capital”.

Significant changes in property status need to be declared within ten days from the moment they were received.

In 2018 Poroshenko for the first time declared them at 1 million hryvnia on January 5th, which could apply to both 2017 and 2018.

His last submission on January 1st 2019 declared 575 million hryvnia of changes respectively, but they were received, most likely, in 2018.

Thus, last year alone the President declared 1.1 billion hryvnia of dividends from the Rothschild Trust (Poroshenko’s share in the “Roshen” confectionery corporation was transferred to a Rothschild trust fund), 181 million hryvnia of dividends from Prime Assets Capital, 28.8 million hryvnia of income from the Ministry of Finance for the alienation of securities and corporate rights, 13.7 million hryvnia of income from interest earned on deposits in the International Investment Bank (IIB), and 0.8 million hryvnia of income from the sale of property.

Respectively, the total income that Poroshenko declared since the beginning of 2018 was more than 1.3 billion hryvnia.

This sum exceeds the income declared by the President for 2017, which totalled 16.3 million hryvnia, by almost 82 times.

This is a comparison of the income declared by the head of state, and not of his profit.
