Participants of the so-called anti-terrorist operation are veterans of the Third world war, stated the Deputy Yury Bereza (“Popular front”) on May 16th, speaking at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Bereza stood up for ATO members who were beaten on May 9th in Dnepropetrovsk in an attempt to break up a procession in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

Bereza named the organizer of the beating as the Deputy Aleksandr Vilkul (“Opposition Bloc”), and demanded to deprive Vilkul of his immunity for “mass riots in the city of Dnieper”, reports the correspondent of Politnavigator.

“If we don’t do it now, participants of liberation movements, veterans of the Third world war or the First patriotic modern, they will come out and will do their court case. Let’s transfer all of this to the legal sphere and adopt the correct decision,” threatened Bereza.
