In Russia criminal cases were opened against six commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who were involved in the shelling of the civilian population of Donbass. The relevant information was shared by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

Accused of war crimes are UAF Colonel Aleksandr Gruzevich, Lieutenant Colonel Mikhail Drapatyi, Colonel Sergei Shaptala, and Colonel Sergey Panchenko. They are charged with the responsibility of various shellings on civilian infrastructure, as a result of which two people were killed and over 20 were wounded.

In addition, a criminal case was opened against the Colonel of the Naval Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Delyatitsky. He is accused of firing heavy weapons near the settlement of Kominternovo, killing two children.

Recall that in the Russian Federation criminal cases were also opened against the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and Chief of General staff of the Armed Forces General Viktor Muzhenko.
