Nadiya Savchenko refused to call leaders of LDPR Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky terrorists.

On the journalist’s question about whether they are terrorists, Savchenko replied in the negative, reports Espreso.

“For me, Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky are not terrorists. We have to open military manuals, rules of war, and to read what terrorism is. No, they are not terrorists. There is a well-defined set of notions on what is considered terrorism. There is a part of separatists and a part of collaborators. And there is a part of the occupied population,” said the People’s Deputy.

She also added that the state is long overdue a decision to determine if Ukraine is really fighting with Russia or conducting an ATO. In this case, it will become much easier to determine how to call the leaders of the breakaway Republics.

“The Ukrainian power, Parliament, the government has decided their position. We ask support from all over the world against the aggressor Russia, while at this time we continue to negotiate with him, saying that it’s a hybrid war. And floating on the Internet already for a long time is such a good notion “the people are fighting with the aggressor, while the President continues his business”. Unfortunately, this is the case. Therefore, while we do not make a determination, we have no right to accuse anyone without reason,” said Savchenko.
