Freedom of speech in Ukraine is more than missing! The SBU carried out searches at the journalist’s residence who commented on the events in Ukraine to pro-Russian media!!! While it’s not even Russian media but a Ukrainian oppositional position!

We know this journalist personally – he’s an intelligent man with an analytical mind. Well, is it his fault that concerning the events in Ukraine the picture is very bad? After all, he works professionally, while those who are responsible for the situation in Ukraine do not care about this topic, the most important thing for them is that repression continues!

Information from Ukrainian media:

In Zhitomir employees of the SBU conduct searches in the house of Vasily Muravitsky – a former local journalist who now actively publishes anti-Ukrainian materials and comments on the events in Ukraine for pro-Russian media.

The press center of the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed the information about investigative actions in Zhitomir and in one of the settlements near the regional center, but refused to name the reason and the suspect.

“Currently, investigative actions are being carried out in relation to one blogger against whom criminal proceedings were opened. As soon as it finishes we will disclose the details,” said the Press-Secretary of the regional leadership of the SBU Irina Martynyuk in comment to Zhitomir.info.

Now the pretrial investigation is conducted by the investigative department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zhitomir region. For the most serious crimes Muravitsky is threatened with up to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
