As was reported by the press service of the National Police of the region, the police were able to detain the fugitives on the way to Kiev at the railway station in Nizhyn. The deserters were dressed in camouflage uniforms, and had no weapons or documents.

“On the evening of December 7th, the commander of one of the military units located in the regional center informed the Chernigov police department and reported that two soldiers had escaped the training company,” said the police.

As was previously reported, Russian border guards in the Rostov region detained two soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who tried to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border.
