Due to the ban on visiting the actual positions of units of the UAF in Donbass, the Ukrainian media is preparing TV programs at staged areas. This was stated on June 16th by the head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces Daniil Bezsonov.
“Systematic reports that reveal the positions and ID of commanders lead to an increase in losses among the Ukrainian militants. In this regard the militants implemented a rigid package of restrictive measures, in particular – a banning on visiting actual advanced positions,” explained Bezsonov. “Now all ‘revelations’ will be filmed at training grounds and staged areas”.
According to the head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, such measures demonstrate the strengthening of censorship by the Ukrainian authorities. Together with this it is noted that the new rules don’t apply to the western media. Journalists from the German “Stuttgarter Zeitung” and the American “New York Times” publications were in the combat zone from June 13th to June 19th.
Daniil Bezsonov also stated that units of the Ukrainian army left a number of their positions in the Donetsk and Gorlovka directions.
“At the moment we are aware of the ‘feats’ of the UAF that are connected to militants from the 24th brigade voluntarily leaving one of the streets of Zhovanka (near Gorlovka) and also the voluntary leaving of a number of positions by militants from the 30th and 93rd brigades in the Donetsk direction,” noted the head of the press service.
At the same time, according to him, the Ukrainian side in every possible way tries to disprove these facts. Moreover, the media under the control of Kiev spreads disinformation about the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly taking new positions, having taken a certain ‘strategic height’ in Donbass.
As a reminder, not so long ago the Ukrainian army left the settlements of Gladosovo and Travnevoye occupied by them at the end of November of last year near Gorlovka.
