In the city of Kalush in the Ivano-Frankovsk region a memorial plaque in honour of the Hauptsturmführer of the SS “Galicia” division Dmitry Paliiv was unveiled. This was reported by the local news agency “KalushNews”.
Several dozen people came to the event, including the city and district authorities, radicals from the public organisation “Galician Brotherhood of Former Soldiers of the 1st Ukrainian ‘Galicia’ Division of the Ukrainian National Army”, priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and students of the Kaluzhsky Polytechnic College.
