The OSCE “Forgot” to Document Ukraine’s Aggression Against the LPR Settlement of Maryevka

The observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) did not include in their daily report information about damage sustained by houses in the settlement of Maryevka (Zolotoye-5) due to the shelling of the Kiev Armed Forces. This was stated during a briefing in the Lugansk Information Center by the official representative of the People’s militia of the LPR Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

On November 15th at 9:30 the Kiev Armed Forces once again subjected the settlement of Maryevka to 120-mm mortar shelling, the use of which is forbidden by the Minsk Agreements. As a result of the shelling the roofs and glazing of two houses, as well as a power line, were damaged. Representatives of the Republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination recorded the destruction of a roof and ceiling of a house at 3/2 Artem Street, as well as an uninhabited building on Vatutin Street.

Marochko noted that the People’s militia of the LPR is still concerned by the principles of the work of representatives of the OSCE Mission on the territory of the LPR.

“Thus, in the reports of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine there is no information about the destruction that the settlement of Zolotoye-5 sustained on November 15th as a result of a mortar attack carried out from the positions of UAF units,” noted the Lieutenant-Colonel.

“This is nothing other than the concealment of the crimes committed by Ukraine concerning the people of Donbass. We ask the leadership of the observation mission to pay attention to this fact and to take the appropriate measures,” said the official representative of the Defense Ministry of the Republic.
